You've seen the horses.
Here are some of the other animals you may find on the Ranch.
Eagle

This majestic guy (or gal) was sitting here watching us ride by the other day on our horseback ride, probably wondering what the heck we were doing invading his/her privacy.
Leroy
Jim & Deb took Leroy in and to pay them back, Leroy keeps the house mouse free. He's a ferocious mouser and, for the first time, will be making the trip back to Balboa Island this year.

Dexie: I love your blogs. Reminds me of our law school days where I'd teach you the class and you'd kick my butt with that terrific writing style. Please say hi to Jim and Debbie from Connie and I. Their place and environs reminds me our my folks place in the Star Valley in Wyoming. For spectacular scenery and great people, there is really nothing which can compare with the American West. Wait a minute, the American East, South, and North compares just fine. OMG, this country is full of great people and places, just as we discussed. Hope the new, profound adventure we just chose yesterday can help us realize our greatness, not just our divisiveness and greed, but the kind of 'stuff' we seem to find in really tough times. Say hi to your Dad. Love, Frank and (the still sleeping) Connie.
